i've been thinking about putting together a pamphlet of things that have worked well for me over the years.

if it's successful, maybe it will lead to seminars or classes.

feel free to critique, or chime in with your own.

Leave the bathroom door open and go pee sitting down. That's subtly showing her you "understand how nasty men are".

Make her feel like her opinion on decisions matter. She doesn't care what you do anyway, she just likes a good listener.

Wear turtleneck sweaters and excitedly ask if she read that new book... She will know you can relate.

what do you like as a gift?

i have absolutely no idea what to make or give my son-in-law for his birthday or for christmas.

he has all the newest gadgets which i could not afford anyways so i am stumped.. gotta be inexpensive (on a strict budget) and if i can make it all the better.

Tickets to a pro sporting event! If he goes to see a bad team at home play vs a good team, tickets will be cheap and he can see all stars.

so, i have missed 4 sunday meetings now for different reasons mainly fatigue cause i'm still in school and i'm up late almost everynight.

anyways..the lady i study with decides to harass the house with relentless phone calls disturbing my mum (who doesnt like jws) for the last 3 days.

she finally got through to me today because she called super early (before 7).

This was a common no win situation for the elders/others.

Balance is not even a word in this context. You call once, you should've called more. You call twice, one was good enough.

today my crush was on tv and a quick blush came to my face as i remembered all the silliness i did to run into him when he was attending jr. college near my grandparents....sigh.... so who was yours?

did your parents highly discourage/disapprove such?.

I may have found it! (In my pursuit of a degree)

i posted a while ago i was interested in psychology.

and i had many options in mind to get a degree for.

but i found my knack!.

NY44M - It maybe too vague or too specific, but programming I enjoy. Obviously I need boatloads more of understanding and skill to become good. To have a career doing something I enjoy is how I see myself when I grow up.

All - Is working full time and campus learning putting too much on one plate? I understand it's circumstantial, but given the time commitment needed for both, would be it suggested?

Thanks for the great advice! I would love to learn on campus but I liked the flexibility of online learning, so I appreciate the warning!

I will look into cognitive science to see what it's all about. In the multitude of counselors....

Is there a difference between an online school and taking online courses from a campus-originated school?
